Certain levels of anxiety are a natural part of our human experience. Usually, it is experienced sensations, emotions, thoughts, or behaviours. Sometimes, anxiety can get out of control. The more we give into anxiety, the more it tends to control our lives.
Anxiety can show up on many occasions: for some people it is at their workplace or during a job interview. Other people feel anxious in social situations, while finding a partner or making new friends. Some people experience constant worries about the future. Symptoms of anxiety can also be related past trauma and being targeted by systemic oppression and racism.
In our collaboration, we will assess your symptoms and explore your goals. For your recovery, we will focus on increasing your awareness, learning new skills and receiving support. Furthermore, you will receive psycho-education to better understand your symptoms.
