Support after sexual assault
As a trauma therapist and survivor of childhood sexual abuse, I know firsthand how isolating it can feel to look for support after sexual assault — and how hard it can be to find people who truly understand. If you are ready to explore healing, I work with adult survivors of childhood and adult sexual abuse using an integrative, trauma-informed approach. You can learn more about what healing can look like in my article Healing Childhood Sexual Abuse: When the World Doesn’t Believe You or explore working together through my trauma counselling or trauma-informed coaching services.
If you are are looking for other support alongside it, the following organizations offer crisis support, counselling referrals, and advocacy across Canada and the US. There is no right way to begin. Trust yourself to choose what feels safe.
